Enameled Jewlery:
These accesories can be anything from lapel pins to 14k enamel anklets, enamel products are said to be one of the most popular products because of the very wide range of styles, colours and shapes the Enameled Jewlery can be when they come onto the market. Accessories such as jewelry and cufflinks can be decorated with precious stones to give them an added atraction and shine in the light.

What are Enameled Jewlery made from?
Enamel is made by melting tiny coloured glass particles on to red-hot metal in furnaces at around 800 degrees C. As it cools it fuses to give glass coated metal.

The metal that the enamel gets fused to can be practically any metal, it covers many kitchen surfaces including cookers, saucepans and washing machine drums. It is apparently posible to find enamel covering cast iron or steel baths and also clock and watch faces. Enamel is also used by artists and in jewelery, famously in Russia's Fabergé eggs.

Enameled Jewlery are said to be extremely durable, they are apparently heat, frost, water, scratch and chemical resistant. Enamel has been proven to hold its colour quality over periods of hundreds of years from older ages.

Decorated Enameled Jewlery:
Some accessories can be decoratedby using methods such as engraving and grinding, these two methods are said to be used to give the accessory a more attractive look.

Engraving allows the accessory to have a name or set of words "carved" into it where as grinding gives the enamel accessory a smooth edge and a texturised surface.
